Live Science’s Science of Sex columnist, Sally Law reveals ten sex statistics that would surely amaze a lot of people:

• A Moroccan emperor is the male record-holder for most kids. According to the Guinness Book of World Records,he fathered “at least 342 daughters and 525 sons.
• The average erect penis size is 5 to 7 inches.
• About 5% of 40-year-old men and 15-25% of 65-year-old men experience erectile dysfunction.
• The average male loses his virginity at 16.9 years of age, while the average woman loses hers at 17.4.
• About 12% of married adults sleep alone.
• 75% of men always reach orgasm during sex while only 29% of women report the same.
• Two-thirds of college students in the United States have been in a “friend with benefits” relationship.
• Women from aged 20 to 59 have an average of four sex partners in a lifetime. Men have 7.
• Two-thirds of women who had their first baby between 2001 and 2003 worked during their pregnancy.
• At least 50 percent of sexually active men and women will have a genital HPV infection at some point in their lives.
